Sie absolvierte die Gesangsabteilung der Abteilung für Jazz- und Unterhaltungsmusik an der Musikakademie in Katowice. Ihre Stimme ist als Hintergrundstimme in Dutzenden von Schallplatten polnischer Sänger und Musiker zu hören. Parallel dazu ging sie ihren ganz individuellen, eigenständigen musikalischen Weg. Sie veröffentlichte vier Alben – Sharmi (2006), Inna (2010), POZYTYWka (2012), Shades of Love (2016). Sie wurde dreimal zusammen für die Fryderyk Awards (2006, 2010) und zweimal für Super Jedynka (2007) nominiert. 2013 begann Ania ihre künstlerische Zusammenarbeit mit dem amerikanischen Soul- und Jazzmusiker Frank McComb. Daraus entstanden ihre gemeinsamen Konzerte zwischen 2013 und 2016. Die Musik von Ania Szarmach ist eine Kombination aus vielen Stilrichtungen – Soul, Jazz, R’n’B, Clubmusik. An ihren Projekten nahmen exzellente Jazz- und Popmusiker aus Polen und der Welt teil, wie Anna Maria Jopek, Marcin Wasilewski, Adam Bałdych, David „Fingers“ Haynes, Frank McComb uva. Sie spielt ihre Konzerte auch in Polen und im Ausland. About Ania Szarmach Ania Szarmach is a Musician, singer, composer, lyricist, and producer. She graduated from the vocal department of the Jazz and Popular Music division at the Academy of Music in Katowice. Her voice can be heard as a backing vocalist on dozens of records by Polish singers and musicians. Alongside this, she pursued her own unique and independent musical path. She has released four albums: Sharmi (2006), Inna (2010), POZYTYWka (2012), and Shades of Love (2016). She has been nominated three times for the Fryderyk Awards (2006, 2010) and twice for the Super Jedynka Award (2007). In 2013, Ania began her artistic collaboration with American soul and jazz musician Frank McComb. This collaboration resulted in their joint concerts between 2013 and 2016. Ania Szarmach’s music is a combination of many styles – soul, jazz, R&B, and club music. Her projects have involved excellent jazz and pop musicians from Poland and around the world, such as Anna Maria Jopek, Marcin Wasilewski, Adam Bałdych, David “Fingers” Haynes, Frank McComb, and many others.
